Slow But Steady

I’ve been working with Nathan on getting the game farther along towards printing. Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve done a bit of tweaking on the RP for ranged weapons for balance issues, gotten another outsider perspective on the books layout and design, and been working to update the website. The website is slow going, but we’re making progress. I’m adding this even though I know it’s not going to be live for a while longer now. I’ve still got a bunch of work to do on the site. And getting the domain transferred over to the new host.

I’ve also been working on the hobby and office space I work out of at home. The office setup and where things were at hasn’t been very conducive to me actually getting any work done while I’m at home. So, with Cal’s suggestion, we’re rearranging a bunch of stuff. Hopefully by the end of the coming weekend, I’ll have a fully functioning work station at home ready to have for both hobby work and business work.

I’m also still investigating ways to make some income start coming in. Some ideas I’ve currently been working on are shirts, buttons/pins, stickers, and ‘zines. Nothing terribly expensive for the folks on the other end, but still something to just add a little income while spreading the word. I’m actually kind of excited about the zine idea. Just some 6 or 7 small page booklets that have a cover, a couple of QR codes, and then some fluff. Probably short stories about some of our “main” characters. Nathan and I have both put some work into developing characters that would be interesting to explore some fiction with. I can think of two in particular that it would be fun to write some stuff in the perspective of leading up to the events that are written about in the rule books for S.E.E.R. So, look forward to updates about that to come along soon, too!
