Workin’ Man
Hello out there! This week has been a busy one, so there’s not a ton of company work to report on. The reason for the low energy week this time around? I started a new real-world job. Sadly, this means less time for the hands-on work that needs put into the company. On the upside, it means more income to divert towards finishing the S.E.E.R. project and getting things moving in that direction. We’ve been in conversation to move forward with getting merch for sale again. Stickers, patches, and hopefully some fluffy zines (short form story or informational micro-magazines).
The ClockTower work that has been getting done this week has been the administrative stuff. Keeping up on the financial tracking, doing the file back ups, etc. The really rewarding bit has been going back through our previous rosters for various factions and beginning the task of updating them to match the most recent changes in the rules that impacted creation. Most of it has to do with points changes for balance and the re-tweak that went into melee combat. So far, we’ve made it through a handful and there’s a lot more left to do. But the part where we got to dig out all of the carriers and actually look at all of the painted minis and look at them all on the table? That bit has been really rewarding. Sure, a few things need touched up, and a couple need repairs. A few also need to have their paint jobs finished up. All that aside, they look great on the table.
I’ll have more hobby news to update soon, I hope! We need to get through the lists updates so we can get back to playing on a somewhat regular basis. The last game we got in and the last playtest round we played here at the house really helped highlight just how much getting games in helps keep the motivation to work on the game high. So, finishing NeoNagoya and writing lists. That’s where we’re at this week. See ya’ soon!
