Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2025, everyone!
First, the agenda for the year.
We’re going to continue pushing for finishing the book, which means buckling in and doing some writing. A lot of writing. A lot of fiction writing, which is apparently harder than writing rules for me. Joy! But, Nathan and I are getting through the work bit by bit, and book 3 is slowly coming together. We’re also going to be continuing to do some playtesting and demos at Geeks & Games. If you’re in the Portland, OR metro, come look us up on Discord and we’ll let you know when and where you can find us. The link will be at the end of this post!
Other things coming this year, though they’re still in the very early stages to get done. Testing home published DiY spiral bound copies of the rule books. I have the spiralizer machine thing, but I’ve never used it. Once I get the first two books a little closer to polished, it’ll be a good time to try both. We’re also still working on ‘Zines to sell here from the website. I’m also working on some other merch. T-shirts and stickers with some characters and the logo are probably first up. I’m mostly waiting on the logo stuff until I get an updated version of our logos finished. I had a rough draft done last year, but wasn’t happy with the results. I’ll be getting that done up again in the not-so-distant future. We’re also planning to do more demos around the metro at other shops. We’re already planning to do one up in Vancouver at Mindtaker Miniatures’ shop! Those folks are fantastic. If you haven’t checked them out, please do so!
I’m sure there are things I’m forgetting, but they’ll come to light when they’re meant to. In the meantime, keep up with our socials and here on the DevLog for more updates. One of the other goals for the year is to be more active and do better about posting here, on Instagram, and on YouTube. You’ll likely be seeing shorts, if not a few updated full length videos once I have content to share!
Here’s to kicking off a productive year!
