Ramping Up Into 2025
This month has been a little bit of hobby work and a lot of road mapping so far. Nathan and I are still working on the lore that’s going into the third book. I’ve been working on some of the other content that’s not exactly lore oriented as well, but it’s slow going. I also need to start taking some pictures of hobby projects in process to add to part of the book as well. Not to mention all the model building and painting. But! Only one thing at a time, and like I said, this month has been about getting things moving into the right direction again now that my health is back to a good place and I have more time available to work on the game and the game company I’m looking forward to making a lot of progress over the next few months.
One of the specific things we’ve been working on has been the balance of melee to ranged rosters and making sure that an all melee list is viable while not making ranged combat any less lethal. So, right now, I’ve been working on a new Order from the Terran Reclamation. The Order of the Palm, is going to be a very aggressive, melee oriented order within the Terran Empire. Kind of the stick for when the carrot fails, so to speak. They’re a really fun blend of a few different ranges from Anvil Industry, with the only real exception being the veteran troopers’ spears. Those are scavenged from the bits boxes at Mindtaker Minis in Vancouver, WA. Their spears are from a Games Workshop dwarves kit, though I couldn’t begin to tell you which one. I think their roster is going to be a lot of fun to play!
The last thing to touch on is our social media presence. For the foreseeable future, we’re going to be staying on TikTok and posting as able, and we’re going to be adding Bluesky social to the rotation. In the meantime, we will not be removing any of our existing presence and we’ll be endeavoring to posting regularly across all of the platforms we’re on. I’ll be adding the links to any new platforms here as they’re launched. With the new year, we’re also going to be striving to be a bit more active on the social media sites as well, so look for us on those spaces as well!
